Didn't you just LOVE the CS Lewis Tour? I too am a huge Lewis and Tolkien fan. I met Ron when taking his tour about four years ago. You have to admit it is a spectacular tour, and seeing Lewis' old haunts through the eyes of someone who actually knew him (albeit as a child!) made it all the more personal and enjoyable. You seem to have a well-rounded life with many interests. Christian apologetics is one of my favorite subjects as well, thus my interest in CS Lewis. Do you have any interest in Biblical Archeology? Pay no never mind to the likes of Ron and Peter (but Ray, I am surprised at you when did you become such a cynic? LOL) they mean well but they do get confused about whom the good guys...excuse me, I mean girls, are. LOL! Welcome again to the forum Dennis and Nadia, and don't forget to put up an avatar so that we can see who we are talking to! Diana

I would like to post some pictures of the LOTR styled bows and quiver I made, but can't see how to do it because they don't directly relate to a town or attraction. Anybody have some advice for me? Dennis

We will see them in admin and post them in the forum for you. Please also include any descriptions you would like with each picture. Sorry about this, but the site is structured in such a way that it only allows pictures of counties/towns/attractions, which initially served the purpose of the site. We'll try to expand the system at some point to include other pictures. |

They are related to Heddington, Wiltshire (for lack of a better option). There are also two more pictures of the bows in my picture space under Oxford, Oxfordshire, UK. Perhaps POE will be able to put them into a single heading one day, but for now I'l love to hear back from anyone on your impression of these LOTR inspired weapons. Every so often I get over to my nephew's home, and we set up the archery in their backyard. Then imagination takes over, and we enter Middle Earth! (Nadia even made the boys elven clothes, to add to the effect. It's a lot of fun for us, but their dog has to hide herself away in the corner to avoid being mistaken for an ORC!
