Ruth, I think that the people of Cornwall and Wales came from the same tribes way back in the past. The language is very similar, and the place names which dont change much over time, are still very much alike.

Denzil, dont worry about the weather, just enjoy it. I never worry what the weather will bring. I just love being out in the country air, even if it is blowing a blizzard. And that has happend to us a few times while driving in the lake district and north Yorkshire moors. Its great.

The lakes are fantastic Denzil. I have been there in the sunshine, rain and a raging blizzard. Just watching the landscape change before your eye's is fantastic. We drove up to Carlisle and back through the lakes in a snow storm, people think we are mad, but we enjoyed every minute of it.

Last year in Cornwall, we drove through bright sun, rain, hailstones, snow and then sunshine again, all in the space of 1/2 an hour. It was great. And that was in June too.
