I am 46 Y/O currently unemployed as lay offs have found me.... I found this site from Cyndi's list of ancestry research. I have found that my relatives have come from England, mostly Lancashire I believe. I have found Names such as; Hesketh, Croston, Pennington, Birchenough and Atherton. I have found they resided in places like Adlington, Atherton, Chorely, Leigh, Preston. The 2 Areas I am having finding record for are Cheswick and Whiston, but back in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Please feel free to offer suggestion and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
