Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | Yeah I have felt rough for a few days now, the virus has got on my chest and triggered my asthma off, still, I’m ok if I want to make any heavy breathing phone calls lol The weather has been so awful here that I haven’t been able to get out with my camera for what feels like ages, but I’m going out this week end, haven’t decided where yet. Glad you sorted your lens out. |

Have you tried out the new lens yet? Oh while I remember can you recommend the most picturesque places for us to visit in Yorkshire, I know you have been there many times, we are planning to go next spring, Chris’s health has been so much better this last year that I think we might be able to start taking the odd holiday, he went back into uniform yesterday, very strange seeing him that again after four years of civilian dress . |

At least being ill I can spend more time on here so there is a bright side to every thing |

Yes, I was kindly invited along to the Cacti Society of Great Britain, Grimsby branch. They have been going for over 50 years but sadly their membership has dwindled to a mere dozen or so, most of them being elderly and not having the time or the good health to keep the branch running. They desperately need new members to take over the running of the club and organize fund raising events or the club will not survive another year, so I will do what I can to help them. Some of the members I spoke to are keen photographers and I believe members of poe, so any of you out there reading this who met me today, I would like to thank you for making me so welcome. I see you are a new member yourself so I would like to return the welcome. I have looked at your work and being a landscape person myself was impressed with you picture of blackpool beach, have commented on it. Look forward to more from you. All the best....Paul |
