Yes Sue, as in the plant, lol he has many sides to him does our Paul S.

Wow Paul, I am so honoured to have somebody in my family prepared to do so much for so little for our beloved Cacti, I’m pleased my earlier comments didn’t make you prickly with me and knowing you so well I think if anyone can save this society it’s you. Paul, did they really, paint you green and stick pins in you as their ritual and if so are you sure this was actually a cacti society meeting…………

" What do you get when you cross a pig and a cactus?
A porky pine! " Smile

Wow, I would never have dreamed there was a cacti society in England of all places.  But I've seen a lot of palm trees in pics here and also in S. Ireland.  I'm guessing cacti are grown indoors there - they'd never survive the rainfall outside.  My dad had a prickly pear planted among his hedges in his front yard in Pennsylvania, but it only lasted about 5 years.  I have 2 saguaros in my front yard.

So Paul, it's taking you a while to get your avatar up! What's the problem, you can't be more ugly than Peter can you?

I used to have some cacti in pots around the sitting room and bedroom, but I think my daughter probably overwatered them (badly) when she was still at home.  To be absolutely fair, it might even have been me!  Innocent
