I thought about the Wizard of Oz myself a time or two . In particular when the tornado warning siren went off for the first time . Thankfully the only time so far and a false alarm at that . I'm looking forward to visiting Colorado the first chance I get . Its near the top of a very long list ! |

If not, make a few holes in the flatlands and play snooker. That should make you feel right at home. Lol. Glad to have you with us. Dont forget to drop in to the forums for a chat. We may be complete nutters, but we are a family. Edited by: Peter Evans at:10th November 2008 21:31 |

I was in Wsiconsin, mostly, but had a little house down in Missouri and used to wander into Kansas periodically. I don't miss the tornado seasons any more ! I no longer have Ruby Red Shoes, so don't want any more unexpected flights of tornadoes! Welcome to the new people! This is a great site. Enjoy it. |

It's been quite awhile since I've been in here and have to say, I missed you all. In my busy time away from puter, I have learned how to use the vacuum(hoover) again..lol...and have taken photos daily. My hubby, Dave, and I have been up to scotland for quite awhile, where he has been fishing and I have been doing wildlife photos. We are home here in South Shields again, for winter months, or until sun comes out longer than 24 hrs;,I look forward to spending time in here with all of you and listening to all you have to say, and to meet the new people coming in and joining this fine group. I love doing photos, writing, and have recently signed on with RSPB . I am looking forward to spending time with them. Well that's all for this moment, but will be in and out of the room here during the week. See you all then. Cheers! |
