Well I read what the introduction post guidelines said you should say but I forgot it already :(

I recently turned 19, and I don't have a job, I'm a lazy student. I come from Kent, well the London suburbs, but I think technically it is still Kent...but now I live in Lancaster, where I'm a fresher at uni :) I don't have any cameras in my battery atm so I'm basically useless here, but I always used this website to get backgrounds and things because you're all very talented photographers. I'm not...but I might take some pictures of the *new* local landscape when I get my camera sorted. Ooh hold your breath, I know :|.

Still anyway I'm mainly here to get pictures to remind me of home :( And I only just noticed this place had a forum, So, yeah, hi! :)

Hello, Hannah.  Welcome to POE.  You can change your info by going into your profile and then select my account.  Lancaster is in Lancashire, isn't it?  There are some lovely pics of Lancashire here.  But if you're homesick for Kent, you can go to the list on the left side of the screen and surf by county.

Hi

Yeah I figured it out eventually :|

Thanks!

I just have a fear of people googling my name :s I don't know why, or what incriminating things they would find here, they'd just be like "Look at her, not posting any photos..." haha oh well.

This site is a little friendlier and more respectful than a lot of those other anonymous chatting places, but I guess as with anything on the internet, you can't be too careful.  Just post or not post whatever you feel comfortable doing.  It isn't necessary to post photos to join the forum.  It's Pictures of England, and many of the members who visit here haven't even been to the British Isles, so there are quite a few who don't post pics.

Lovely avatar, BTW and best of luck at University.

Welcome to the forum Hannah  .

We are glad you have found the forum, and look forward to getting to know you. Don't worry about not being a photographer, very few of us here are any where near professional, but tons here are extremely good.

We look forward to whatever pictures you submit.

Hello there Hannah. Welcome to the forums. How can those Yanks beat the Brits to the welcome's, thats what I want to know?

Never mind, we are one big happy family here. Plenty of banter, jokes and fun. Dont forget to come in and chat when you get time. By the way, good luck at uni.

Oi ! Peter ! Yorkshire lad here ! NOT a Yank ! LOL .

Like he said though Hannah good luck . You might need it ! I lived in Bradford which is  a university town , and I've spent a few nights out in the company of students . If they were anything to go by you will need all the luck you can get !

Like Cathy says , look forward to seeing some pics of Lancaster
