Dear all,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Simone ( nickname Lady Anne) and I live in Germany.

Because of my big interest in English History, especially in Tudor History (therefore my nickname Lady Anne according to Lady Anne Boleyn, one of the most famous women in history), I decided to join this magnificent website.

Now I`m planning to visit Great Britain again, hopefully in April and in September, and to visit places like Hever Castle, Hampton Court and others.

And I hope to get helpful suggestions for this vecation trips. If anyone has an idea, how to get from London to Chiddingstone, I would appreciate your help.

Best regards by now

Simone

Welcome to the site Simone. I cannot help with your problem sorry as I am not from the London area, I am from the West Midlands. I love Tudor history too. I have never been to Hampton Court but it is one of the places I would love to visit. Pembroke Castle is very interesting - it is the birthplace of Henry Tudor and also Bosworth Field where he became king. I also love Kenilworth Castle where Eilzabeth I visited Robert Dudley.
