It would be a dream come true of mine to fly a Spitfire. An ambition yet to be realised! Those Beavers really are great aeroplanes. We don't have too many float planes here in England. |

You have some lovely shots - looking forward to seeing more. I have a great regard for firefighters by the way. Anyone who makes a career of putting themselves in harm's way to save lives and limbs and properties is heroic in my book. Have fun at POE.

A big welcome from me, too. I must have been away too long and come back in a time machine, because everyone looks so young! (except me, of course). |

Perhaps it was my desire to start to travel now the kids are grown and gone. As a result of the travelling I have become very interested in photography and history. I don't use a flash camera but still am satisfied with what I manage to take each trip. In 14 weeks time I will be in Ireland and the first part of 8 weeks travel. I can hardly wait. I will put up some of my past travel photos when I get some free time. Its a shame I have to work to fund these trips. Must away. Jennifer |

The British Isles are THE BEST. 8 weeks - how I envy you. Enjoy yourself here and if you don't have an itinerary yet, surf thru this site to get ideas about where you'd like to visit. Have a great time here, Jennifer.

Dublin to Manchester and areas to Witby to Cambridge to Bukinghamshire to London to Amsterdam where we are booked on a 2 week river cruise to Budapest. 10 days in Germany where we will meet the daughter-in-law's parents. Russell flies home and I fly onto Cairo to meet up with the school trip to Gallipoli, Egypt and Greek islands and lastly to Athens. We have relations in UK so meeting up with them while there but we still have to plan what we want to see the most. Jennifer
