its good to talk to nice, like-minded people worldwide, unlike some of those forums that are 'pick-up' joints or use foul language etc. Its good to talk about our countries, if only the world would talk and understand each other more. lol

Hello Willie and welcome to POE. I am sorry I am so tardy in welcoming you but I was out enjoying the sunshine all weekend and didn't make it on to POE. Smile

Hello Willie and welcome to POE.  If the photos on this site are anything to go by, you certainly live in God's country in Lancashire.  I hope you love it here,

Hi Ruth

There are some beautiful places in Lancashire, I am also lucky as I only live within a few minutes drive of the Yorkshire border and have relatives over there so I have a foot in either County.  Thanks again for the welcome....Love your pictures of Whitb it's one of my favourite coastal towns.

Thank you, Willie.  I think Whitby's my favorite coastal town too.  I'd move there in a  heartbeat.

Willie, hello and welcome~ my ancestral home is Lancashire and Yorkshire territory~ Sykes folk.

Mossop is a name given to a character in one of my favourite films 'set' in Yorkshire... 'A Month in the Country'. Are you showing your paintings online perhaps?
