Hello everybody

Stumbled accross this site whilst  looking up some local history on the area I live in. I live in the town of Royton which sits between Rochdale and Oldham Lancashire. My main interests are local history, Victorian England, especially The Industrial Revolution. I also enjoy painting, particularly Chinese painting.  I like to travel and one of my favourite parts of this wonderful country of ours is Northumberland.

Looking forward to reading your posts.   Smile
