Hi

I found this a few days ago and think I am going to become totally addicted to it Cool

I am fortunate to live in a small market town in Gloucestershire, so love the Cotswolds and surrounding countyside, but my real love is the sea especially Cornwall (hence the user name!)  I try to get down there at least once a year and practise what I call "micro-tourism" where I concentrate on one particular area and explore it on foot wherever possible.  Last year I stayed on the north coast and walked miles and miles of coastal path between Watergate Bay and Padstow. I am currently uploading some of my photos from this holiday.  Later this year I am off to The Lizard ... can't wait!!

My other love, which I  "caught" from my husband is for canals. We have a share in a narrowboat and spend 2 weeks a year pootling along at 4 mph.  Bliss!

I have the cushiest job in the world which enables me to spend large portions of the day dossing around on the internet so I look forward to chatting with you all Smile

Welcome to POE from Anna and Ron Kernophile (surely you going to give us your real name?) accepting of course why you will be known as Kernophile or 'K' perhaps? Anyway, whatever we get to call you, we hope you will call on us here in the forum, on a regular basis and join in with the fun. Either way, it's a great site that's for sure, enjoy it!

'...and don't call me Shirley...'

One of our families most quoted lines from the movie Airplane. (Rumack: Can you fly this plane, and land it? Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious. Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley. ...)

Hello Shirley    !

Enjoy all that POE has to offer. We look forward to getting to know you.
