I am shocked and saddened. I am going now - I am so sad. She was the first person I made friends with on POE. Although she hadn't been on POE for some time I had kept in touch on other sites. I will miss her.

I find myself here because this is were I first met Lyn G, what I wouldn’t give to have her respond to this post and I think I know exactly what she would say to me but I couldn‘t repeat it on a family site.

What I would like to say is this, Lyn, I wish I had said more whilst I had the chance, like all of the unspoken words I never found the time to say but I knew you needed to hear. How much you really meant to me you’ll never know now but I will always keep close to my heart all the memories we shared, the problems we mulled over, the laughter and jokes we giggled over and the good old chats we had almost every night of the week for the past year, even new years eve my dear friend you was there, we wished each other a Happy New Year at the strike of midnight and wondered what the New year had in store, never did we guess it would be this. My life from this day on is going to be a quieter, sadder, lonelier place.

Whenever I needed someone to talk to you were always there. Two peas in a pod me and you and even though you wasn’t in my life for long I was proud and honoured to call you my friend and I will be forever grateful that I got to know you as well as I did, we had a laugh girl.

Your at peace now my friend, I won’t say good bye because that’s to hard, I will say what we always said at the end of the evening “catch ya later chuck”

RIP Lyn and thank you.

I just can't believe the news tonite. We knew she had a chronical disease but I hadn't realized it could be of such a bad type. She has just come out of swine flu and I thought everything was on the mend:(. She was the first one I met on Poe, it couldn't be any different as she was always the first to welcome everybody and even though our contacts had become less frequent with time, I am now very upset that I've not slightest realized about her conditionsCry.  Ciao, dear Lyn.
