Hello people, my name is Alice and I'm not from England, but from Italy, precisely from Città di Castello, a small town (40000 inhabitans) in the centre.
I'm 19, I live with my family, that is my mother and my two sisters. Next January I'm going to live by my self because I'm starting a course with University about Languages Mediation and Foreign Cultures, so I need help with my English because it's a long time that I don't have the chance to use it (these years I've been busy with my studies, because I wanted to go in my university and i needed good marks).

Anyway, I love your country so I think I'll find this site very interesting, I've already had a look around, and there are many very good things in here.

So, I hope to enjoy it!

welcome to site Violet, hope you learn lots about England from this great site, dont be afraid to ask. (You will note that as we are worldwide friends, many of our members post in different time zones so theres always  someone around 24/7) you will also note that this forum is a friendly forum, not usually frequented by the 'bucket mouths' that you may find on some sites

 Ray,

Is "Italianopohile" a good thing?  Maybe I am just focused on the "opohile" portion!  Embarassed

Hi Violet, welcome to the site. Youe English is excellent. Good luck with your course, it is a big move living on your own for the first time. This will be a good site for you to practice your English as we always type the words out and do not use text speak.
