Diana Bainbridge Posts: 3 Joined: 4th Oct 2009 Location: Australia	quotePosted at 11:57 on 6th October 2009 Hi my name is Diana Bainbridge; my gg-gfather hails from Kirkby Stephen Cumbria; he moved his family to Knaresborough York; where his son and dau worked in the worsted mills; before emigrating to Australia in the late 1800s. His son, my g-gfather settled in Queensland, Rockhampton and then Longreach (far west Qld). I have been looking at the magnificent pics from all over England and especially the Lake District and Yorkshire; I have never been to England; but feel now I must visit, to see for myself.
