When I was 18 a bunch of us teenagers that used to hang around together split and went our seperate ways in life, me and another pal joined the RAF whist another enrolled in the Merchent Navy. The night before he joined his first ship, docked at Liverpool we throw a party for him in our local pub and waved him off. Two days later he was back home , having 'jumped ship'. He said his first night on board, two hairy Scotsmen kept trying to get in his bunk with him lol. He never went back Lol |
