Hi

My name is Roger Lush and I have just joined POE after finding the website whilst looking for some comparable photographps to one I had just taken. I am a keen amateur photographer and have been for some 30 odd years, and a member of Wincanton camera Club. My favourite subject is landscapes along with 1000's of other keen photographers, landscaps can't argue, run away, throw tantrums or be awkward, they are there just to please the eye of the beholder. Hopefully I will be adding a few more of my collection to the site when I have time and I hope that anyone who views them will enjoy them as much as i did in the taking of them. Thank you to those kind comments on my first photograph posting of Stembridge Tower Mill which I was just lucky to catch late on in the day, from looking at some of the wonderful pictures on the site, I can see I have a long way to go with my pictures

Hi Roger and welcome!  I think your photos are quite lovely.  One thing you'll find about this lovely website is there's no photo snobbery here.  We have many photographers whose photos are of top professional quality worthy of magazines or museums, but we have a lot of rank amateurs among us as well (me included).  I hope you'll submit more of yours and join in the discussions now and again.
