hello!

My name is really Marie-France, it's not just because I am from France.  I am a teacher in a primary school, I was born in 1957 ( I no longer tell my age!!!:-( ). I discovered the site through google.

I live In Nantes, Britany, and my very very very favorite destination is UK .

I have loved Uk for a long time. My favorite books ( Jane Austen, Brontë sisters, David Lodge...), musics( Purcell, pink floyd...), films, food, etc..., are from UK.  I have been in the Cotswolds in May and I am looking foward to my next stay.( perhaps London in July)

Forgive my poor English ( I would like to say how this site is wonderfull as it contains pictures which make me dream, but i miss words and  my syntax is plain...)

Hello Marie-France, a very warm welcome to the POE (Pictures of England) family.  I don't think you need to worry about syntax, etc., I had no problem understanding your message!

Welcome to the POE family, Marie.

Don't be worrying about the language divide, we understand what you are saying, and some of us who have English as a first language, have trouble too, so no problems.

Enjoy all the wonderful pictures POE has to offer, and be sure and join us here for a good old chat.
