Hi and thanks one and all. In reply to Rob and his bit of cornish, well I can only agree pronuciation is a nightmare ( I have picked up on "dh" in a word is spoken "th" just as an example), What I find even more of a nightmare is the spelling as there are quite a number of differing forms of cornish- all claiming their way is right.In my usual dictionary Rob's phrases did not appear, but were there in a different dictionary  of another form albeit with a slight spelling change ( you see what I mean), anyway message understood and many thanks. About a  year or so back a standardised form was released paving the way for it to formerly recognised as a regional language. I hope this begins to make life easier all round , I am still to get hold of the new standardised dictionary but I have not done so yet and I think that the one available at present is not to cheap.
