Hello Everyone! My name is Lise Tillman, I am 54 years old and live about 50 miles West of Savannah, Georgia in a city called Statesboro. I came across this website on accident when "surfing" the web and love looking at the pictures. I have a book with the names of my ancestor's from the year 1225 right up to my name. The book also has their wive's/childrens names, dates of birth/death, where they lived, etc.  So needless to say, I'm interested in anything to do with England. I've been to see my ancestral home in Kent and was fascinated by England's beauty and charm.

Hello Lise and welcome to POE. My mother is a Georgia girl--born in Habersham County up in the far NE part of the state. I have European ancestors who moved into that region in the late 18th century and Creek and Cherokee Indian ancestors who lived there much earlier than that.
