Good afternoon all!

Hi everyone, my name is Lynn Keathley and I am anxiously planning my first trip to England in October.  My sister and I have done some geneology and find that our family origins are Keighley, I am a huge John Lennon (beatles) fan and have always wanted to see the UK.  So I am off on a pilgrimage of sorts.  Four days in London starting October 4 then off the Liverpool to celebrate John's 70th and forward to Keighley to check out the home digs.  I found this site and have learned much more about where I am going making my trip that much more exciting.  I am a big history buff so I'm looking forward to the castles, the Tower of London, (Queen Elizabeth 1 fascinates me!)  All the touristy stuff but also some things on my own.  Things are tough here in US but thank goodness I do have a job and family but have considered moving....hmmmmm...we'll see.  Maybe my fortunes will change and I will be able to visit more often.  But for now this is so fun, planning my trip...have never been to Europe but I am very excited.  Thanks for listening and any tips on travel will be greatly appreciated.  Laurel Lynn
