Hello, my name is Nora.  I'm from Illinois, in the US.  I had been on here about a year ago (?) and then for some reason (life?) stopped posting.  I do enjoy this site very much, the photos are beautiful and I love the conversations and hearing from people who actually live in the UK.

I've always wanted to visit, or one day move there (I'm buying up all those lottery tickets!).  We are trying to plan a trip for next spring, hopefully things will work out.  We are thinking April, before prices go up and all the vacation times are taken at work, as it's rather competitive.  It will be a fairly short trip as we can only get so long off.  So, I'm making a list of the "must sees" since it may be my only trip.

Anyway, nice to "see" everyone again, and I plan to be here more often.  Thanks for this wonderful website, it's terrific for anyone who loves England, it's a wealth of information, and all those photos are so amazing, I can spend hours being lost here!

Hi Nora:

Nice to see you back.  I hope all works out well for your trip next spring.  From what I've gathered in all the threads, spring is the best month, weather-wise.

You look great in your new avatar.  Is the young man your relative?

That's my son, Matt, he's 20.  I also have a daughter, Cailee, who's 17. (And a husband, Charles)  Thanks for the compliment!
