I am a complete Anglophile (well, both me and my husband are), always has been, and travel to England/London as much as I can - usually two weeks holiday once a year. Found this place by searching for pittoresque houses on a whole other mission - and up came the recent picture of Old Mother Hubbards house - and I am so happy I found a place where I can share my love of this beautiful country! Currently I am studying to up my general skills, after a long period of stress-related illness and unemployment. I have loads of pictures I can't wait to uploade! In my spare time I read a lot, often in English - books, magazines - I play PC games, I make jewellery, knit, draw, cook - all things creative. I hope this place can help mend my longing until I can come visit my favourite country once more!

Reciprocally Denmark is my favourite country, I first visited as a member of UK youth orgainsationThe Boys Brigade in 1954, staying with a boys family in Copenhagen. The boy was a member of equivilant Danish Youth Group FDF. My wife and I have had many happy holidays in Denmark over the years. Oddly I can still remember the address I stayed at over 55 years ago? Graekenlandsvej 19st Kobenhaven Denmark. Ask me what I had for dinner yesterday, I have no idea?.....lol Enjoy the site, looking forward to seeing some of you pictures.. |
