Gordon from Saratoga County, Town of Malta, USA

Hello, my name is Gordon Cerniglia, age 63 from Malta, Saratoga County, USA. I am contacting this forum for geneology concerns to track down my grandfather, Gordon Alfred Cavell who left England from Ramsgate. County Kent before WWl for Canada.  He landed in Magog, Canada then immigrated to Vermont, USA and finally to Schenectady, New York.  He named his first born child Edith Cavell after the WWl herione.  He was married to Dora Bovin or Boivin and had four daughters, my mother being Margaret born in 1921.  I really don't know if he lived in Ramsgate or went to Ramsgate to embark on his journey to Canada.  If there are any Cavell family members that might see this post, I would love to hear from you if you know more than I do about Gordon Alfred Cavell.  I know he had a brother by the name of Earl Cavell and his mother's name was Nellie and thats about all.  Thank you in advance and friendly thoughts from Malta.
