Hello all ! It's great to be here. It's great to be in the UK also, and I would gladly fly across the pond at a moment's notice just for some freshly clotted cream. I have been a student in London in the late 70's, and a tourist twice more times, the most recent trip made in spring 2011.

I am from the sunshine state, love to travel, and love horses. My next dream trip would be to visit the UK for several weeks (when work schedule allows), and stay in places that will discount room charges in exchange for barn work. I volunteer at a rescue barn at home, and can provide references as to my character, and my ability to muck out stalls :0D.

I am middle aged, female, and usually travel by myself.

Thanks for reading this, and have a lovely day.

Hi Dave, and thanks for the welcome. I really ought to be working now, but well, this is much more fun, and educational too ! I enjoyed your photos, and especially like the perspective from the base of the William Wallace monument. I did not have time to get that close, and want to return to Stirling when I finished huffing up that fresh clotted cream. Or rather, taking a short break from it. Thanks for the shout out !

Greetings Chris and  very warm welcome to POE, much has already been said about POE and the varied bunch that we are , join in and meet everyone. I see from your introduction you have a taste for clotted cream ( Cornish I hope ! ) Kernow has a lot to offer and the cream is only one thing. Enjoy yourself here.
