Hello Everyone, my name is Ruth and I live in Yorkshire. I came across this web site quite by accident when I was researching something else. I really don't know how I've missed it in the past.

I've been uploading photographs from all over the world to Google Earth for some time, so now I look forward to sharing some of my UK photographs on here. I very rarely leave the house without my camera and over the previous few years I have taken thousands of pictures, so many that I have had in to invest in an external hard drive to store them as iPhoto was starting to groan under the weight.

I look forward to exploring the site and looking at everyone elses photos Laughing

Look forward to enjoying your phots as i hope you enjoy scouring the many available on POE. Join in one or two of the forums if you get, we are a jolly bunch who enjoy a bit banter now and again. The forums are there to cover anything you want...serious to jovial. Look forward to your contribution

Greetings Ruth, Welcome to the Family POE. Glad you have made the discovery, we all stumble in this way I reckon. Seen a few of your pics already and they are looking good, ( and they show Kernow in a good light as well). Keep the pics a coming and do join us all here in the forums, serious, information, and as Dave puts it -   " jolly banter ". Whatever- join in and enjoy yourself.

             Have to ask-- why rusty?

Thank you all for the warm welcome Laughing

The 'rusty' comes from my passion for collecting Roman artifacts, some of which arrive in a bit of a rusty state. The children coined the phrase many years ago and it just stuck.
