I'm a Yank xpat who recently spent nearly 13 years living in London, Bournemouth & Bristol. I got to meet loads of fine people and even hung out with Iron Maiden & Motorhead which were huge events for me. Before I left the U.K. I took one last road trip w some good mates of mine to  Portmeirion in Wales where I finally got to explore 'The Village'  where the Prisoner was filmed, another huge event for me. We also went to the famous working man's holiday shorefront of Blackpool. I've been back on the West Coast now for 2 years and not a day goes by that I don't think of England. I truly miss Bristol which has to be one of the best places on Earth, even topping Amsterdam where I also once lived. I'll be posting pictures soon so please have a look and send me a message if you like.

Hi Armando, you sound a real Trooper so welcome to POE, loads of pics of Britain to see and good folk to chat to ( we are all Blood Brothers here) , It will be just like Coming Home. Do not Fear the Dark or Run to the Hills, you do not have to be a Clairvoyant or a Stranger in a Strange Land just join us ageing rockers in El Dorado.

Welcome Amando I too have been back from the UK for two years and really miss it. Have been thinking seriously about going back again to live although the Canadian dollar is not worth much. The Canadian who is now head of Bank of England said it should be getting better.
