Hi - Roberta Snape's photo 'River Darwen Bridge' 27/12/2010 reminds me of where my sisters and brothers swam when we were kids in the (umm... well.. ) ... 40's.. Would anyone know if that bridge was ever a carriage bridge for cars? We swam around a carriage bridge we called 'Jill Bridge'. I'm hoping to find its location. We lived in Longridge.
