Stour Valley Spring, Shillingstone.
The Shillingstone area of The Stour Valley, has a few of these dark brown hen Pheasants. They are known as 'Melanistics' and are a mutant of the normally light brown version. This one thinks it's a Chaffinch and has become far too familiar with the garden bird feeder. - Graham Rains (photographer)
