Cottage of East Budleigh Frogmore Lane connects East Budleigh and Otterton villages. The Wild Duck is on this lane perhaps nearer Otterton, but it is still passed en-route. Frogmore Lane walls Walls are built to enclose properties. Some are brick, some are stone, some are pebbles. This wall on Frogmore Lane guards "The Cottage", and is endowed with roses and other flowering plants that hide the brickwork very effectively. Dalditch digitalis The foxglove looks pretty against a blue background, but beware - all of it is poisonous to humans, from root tips to flowers. Budleigh Hill The main road from Budleigh Salterton enters East Budleigh as it goes down Budleigh Hill, the bottom of which is a cross roads and small humped bridge. East Budleigh is the left hand turn, Frogmore Road turns right and Bicton Park straight on via Colaton Raleigh to Newton Poppleford. East Budleigh Church view Walter Raleigh would have seen East Budleigh's church from this view as he walked from his home at Hayes Barton to East Budleigh. It is taken from Hayes Lane.
