Otterton Mill

The Mill at Otterton is all decked out for Christmas, all they need now are shoppers and eaters! We only had a coffee and scone and the friendly robin liked bits from the scone.

The Green is a terrace of thatched cottages in Otterton. The church has a single clock face which can be seen above the roofs.

Otterton hollow tree

This tree once towered skyward but blew down and all that's left is a hollow stump. It can be found on the old road/river path between Otterton and Budleigh Salterton.

It was raining the last time I visited Otterton Mill. The cafe was full but the outside seats were empty.

River Otter

Crossing the White Bridge and looking northwards the River Otter has been swollen by the recent rains. It will undoubtedly get more swolen when the rain landing in Somerset comes flowing down down later.

Walking over the bridge over the River Otter you can tell that it's been raining. It will undoubtedly swell more when we receive the rain that fell in Somerset gushing down to the sea.

Otterton Mill

Otterton Mill provides produce made on the premises and also sells potted plants, flowers and herbs. This advertisement of their potted plants made me smile.
