Well done James should look great in flower. Hopefully the winds predicted won't affect them as they are too close to the ground.

As I mentioned in another thread I suspect the predicted winds will be responsible for a 70% plus loss of the fruit on the trees that I thought we were going to reap this year. Nature taking care of itself maybe?

Really throwing it down here James but the garden is looking great!

Amazing how fast the weeds grow, despite the rain eh? That's nature looking after itself I guess.

Yeah agree James and it doesn't help with cutting either does it? Somehow seems to jam up the collection box despite it being very lightweight.

As in another thread the cultivated Blackberries are in full bloom already, have been for a week or more so definitely early.

Nice to see home grown produce in the garden--a few years ago i had 6 b/currant bushes which were forever raided by blackbirds so i netted them but was forever goimg out having to rescue them --no fruit now only plants/flowers.Smile

Looking pretty good at present after a lot of work --the only let-down is the lawn which was ruined a couple of years ago by a firm supposedly treating it --but slightly improving.Smile

Goosegogs are filling out fast and the Strawberries are coming on nicely. Best taste bar none our English Strawberries.

Figs are filling out too I notice.
