Paddlesworth is a small village in the county of Kent, 3 miles NNW of Folkestone.

It was a sighting-point for the Anglo-French Survey (1784–1790) linking the Royal Greenwich Observatory with the Paris Observatory.

The village has a public house 'The Cat and Custard pot' and a wonderful 900-year-old Pilgrim church.
