This is a beautiful riverside medieval building dating back to the 1300's or beyond. It was originally mentioned in Yorl's records in 1315.
For over 300 years historic Lendal Tower was the headquarters for the city of York's waterworks. Recently it has been restored to provide a unique home with oak pannelled drawing room and bedroom and is currently up for sale with a hefty price tag.
Fortunately, although once sold few will have the opportunity to view the splendid interior, the attractive exterior of the building remains for us all to admire
