Makes me think we are being used purely as a convenience as Victoria has only posted once, what a pity! Let us hope she has been away on holiday and will post again soon. |

If you can take the time to ask for help it would good manners to say thank you when people do. |

The update is that there is no news as yet. As far as I can see from the council's planning website, no planning application has yet been made, although clearly that is the intention. (Either that or it is too recent to have yet made it onto the website). In the meantime, there has been coverage in the local press and radio, and the villagers have been attempting (sometimes clumsily, as here, unfortunately) to use 'social media' and such to raise awareness and opposition to the inevitable planning application. If/when there is something more informative to post, I will be back! FYI I live in the next-door village, but used to frequent the North Arms, and am very sad and disappointed to see it closed. |
