Strangely beer doesn't have the same effect, probably because it takes longer to get into the blood stream. Well not strictly true, what I mean is spirits are at 40% and beer is at say 5% so presumably the former hits the spot quicker? |

Contact Paul or Hilary on 01295 738 838for details or via the website of course. Don't get caught up in the other 'scam' mentioned though! |

If that sort of 'spare' cash i might have considered it. But unfortunately not at the moment .... but who know what might happen if my balls drop right tonight |

Its my fathers village so rely on him for updates, (he moved to China in January) nothing happend for ages but as your posts say, the North Arms pub in Wroxton has become as asset of community of value - and is now ready for purchase by villagers and patrons old and new. So far the investment pledges amount to £215,000 which is amazing! However £350k is required by the end of September to cover the purchase price and renovation costs. I am completely blown away by the fantastic support we have recieved from your website, thank you so so much!! I would like to recommend a few reciprocal thank you posts on the North Arms causes Facebook page - please send me a direct message on the page and I shall give you my email address - so you can send copy and links etc. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Kindest regards Victoria https://www.facebook.com/SaveOurNorthArmsPubInWroxton?ref=hl&ref_type=bookmark Thanks Victoria I will ask POE owners Chris and Sarah to reply to you. Thank you! Are there any POE members that own a share or two in the pub? Me? No I was landlord of a pub once and that relieved me of enough money to ..... to........to ....run a pub of my own! lol It's a hard business to be in nowadays with some 38 pubs shutting the door for the last time every week. |
