I remember 1976 very well! It was the year we moved house, the lawns were brown and if you weren't careful you would have fallen down the cracks that were in them! I distinctly remember when the drought ended as well...14th July, we moved on the 13th and then the heavens broke!! |

July, Lyn....I remember the heavens opening too....but could have sworn it was in September. I suppose Time can play tricks with the memory. Are you sure! |

We have a trailer tent that sleeps 6 and will be using it a lot more now that the wife has retired. But last year, while the wife was at work, I phoned her up and told her that I took the 4 man tent and drove up to Cromer. I came back a week later and she hadnt even known that I had gone. Except at meal times. I do all the cooking, and she wondered why the dinner wasnt on the table. He he he. |

A 4 man tent just about big enough for 1 with all your gear and a nine man tent that we have never used. Even the wife likes roughing it in a small tent though. I think I have a few other tents in the shed as well. Anyone want to come camping? |
