Its about 250 miles or so north of us. We rarely have any reason to go that far north! Gorgeous day here today, low humidity, temps in the 80's, not much wind, and perfect balloon weather! Watched about a dozen fly past the windows of the hospital this morning, just after I got to work. Nice way to start the day! |

It's not so windy, I've only been to Chicago once (at least downtown, been to suburbs more) and it was hot. Very cold in winter, wind off Lake Michigan. But, it's a cool place to visit. Like NY better, tho! There is actually a grassroots movement taking place to have the part of Illinois south of Springfield declared it's own state! Politically and economically, we have nothing to do with the northern half! weird, huh? Back to weather...gorgeous today, 70's low humidity. I'd love this year round! |

Today's temperature about 18c and cloudy. |

We have quite a few puffy clouds, too. It got up to about 92 F (33-34 C) and is just miserable. I think it will probably rain in the next few days and cool off, and I do like rain, I even like fog, but not this, not really sun, not cloudy, just in between and too hot stuff. Very muggy, and when you sweat, it doesn't evaporate to help you cool off. (That's probably more than anyone wanted to know isn't it??) |

We are enjoying sunny days, low humidity, high temperatures in the 70s and cool nights/early mornings this week. It makes me feel so alive! I absolutely love it and have to laugh at people around me who, after weeks of humid 90s, dare to complain that it's "cold" in the mornings! |
