Are you serious? Dogs bark! Geese honk! Ducks quack. What books did you read when you were a kid? Surprised

Dry today until 3pm when it chucked it down! Temperature about 11c with the wind taking the leaves from the tree's and blocking the drains! Oh to be in England, but I honestly wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Even the ducks have had enough rain around here!  Tropical Storm Ida has brought us a chilly, windy, wet couple of days here in Virginia and DC, apparently with some flooding in Virginia.  Good day to be curled up by the fire with a good book and a cuppa.

Krissy, even the ducks are NOT quacking here in Virginia Beach, it is that bad.  I have lived here for 8 years, minus the 2 that I lived in Cornwall and have never seen it this bad.   My Bentley does not know what to do with himself, most of the time I look over and see his hiney hanging out the doggie door, fear that he would be blown over if he went outside.  I am just hoping that  a tree does not end up on my house...a very good night to stay in.

Great news Kahu - hoping Friday 13th will be lucky for me too!  We had torrential rain here all yesterday afternoon and evening here in the West Midlands.

Congratulations on the win Kahu! Weatherwise, we can apparently expect somewhere between 30 and 50 mm of rain later today with strong winds!! Temperature about 12c currently, dull, damp Autumn day but still beautiful England.
