And being the packi-rat that i am; I still have many of those treasures. The "Buttercross" is a dear place to me ~so much so that my cousins all chipped in and had a large watercolor done for me with the Buttercross, St. Marys Church (where my parents were married), the Fens, the memorial statue to Sir Harry Smith ( ~yes, a close relation!) and several other special places in Whittlesey. It is matted and framed and hangs proudly in my living room. I remember Ramsey as a child being a fun village to visit as well. The East is a beautiful part of the country that often gets overlooked for more famous places. But to me it is heaven on earth :) |

The video reminds me of what we see coming out of the clouds to land at Gatwick....I never get tired of it. Who was singing that song? Very romantic! |
