It is fantastic Diana. I have no photos because I took the trip on video. But waching the scenery turning white as you drive along is fantastic. We were not in a hurry and the wife drove while I filmed. We ended up driving all the way up to Carlisle and back, a round 400 mile trip, it was so beautiful.

My family (from my dad's side) are from Red Wharf Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. I will add the recent photo's I took of the farm which used to be my grandparent's. It was ands still is called Croesfryn. In English means the cross on the hill. Story has it they used to crucify people on the hill near the house. Surprised I've yet to have this proven.

From my mum's side, my family are from Whitehaven in Cumbria and also Hull in Yorkshire.

Hi,

One of my favourite places in England is Hastings. It has everything. For example, Hastings has a pier and the sea. It is a nice town for shopping and also has a beautiful environment.
