Hi Glyn, thanks for adding the pictures. Although I've never been there, Dereham looks and sounds a really nice town |

My last address there was 13, Nightingale Rd. In the 1920s my grandparents lived in an old cottage on Harrow Rd, nearly opposite the junction of Harrow and Nightingale. By googlearth it looks like the cottage is stiil there. If so I would like a photo of it. Can anyone oblige please? Roy |

I moved to the USA in 1992 to a small, rural town in Northern Nevada, that's desert Nevada, a dry and barren wasteland . To say I am homesick for the beautiful English countryside I grew up in is an understatement. Even after 16 years I still look at pictures of home every day and long for my yearly trips back. This site is perfection! Here (I hope) is a picture of a farm in Wheatley I worked at as a young girl. |

But that could all change as I have finally convinced my husband that living in England would be a really good idea |

I checked out some of the photos from Glyn Jones and now I have a name for one of mine - Kilnsey Crag. I didn't write it down while we were traveling and couldn't find it on the map, but now I know. Thanks again! I'm going to have to rummage thru some of the old postings and see what other goodies can be dredged up. |

I don't know where you live in NV, and I've only been to the area around Las Vegas and Laughlin. It has a start beauty, but it's far from green and pleasant. Where I'm orignially from in PA is much more like England than it is AZ or NV. |
