Lots of our town and district names are Aboriginal Andy. The rest of them are Brittish names.

I know what you mean. Fabulous names they are too!! We are 'lucky' enough to get Neighbours and Home and away here, so we kind of get used to some of these great names. I used to love 'Flying doctors', a series overloaded with aboriginal place names. Everything about Oz is so much more colourful than the UK...even Rex Hunt could teach us a thing or two. ''Thank your mother for the rabbits''!!

I know where you are talking about Lyn. Ingleburn has a big army camp and one of my sons was stationed there a few years back. I used to live at a place called Menangle which was near Campbelltown, now quite a large city.

Yep Wolf, Ingleburn. I've heard of Campeltown as well. I loved watching  'A Country Practise' many years ago Andy.

It also comes in handy when I need to know what building is where on Industrial estates, so it helps me with my work too.
