Peter, Peter, surely we offer more than just rain? We offer unhealthy food and 10 year old mums too. No seriously, if England inspires people like Krissy and Rick then it must have something going for it right?

You bet, Nick!  England, like everywhere else, has its good and bad points, but it's typically the people who live in a place who mostly notice the bad points, while the outsiders only see the good stuff, the exotic stuff, like you mentioned.  We always just want to be where we're not, I guess, but that gets you thinking about all the worse places in the world you could be living.  It's like I mentioned in your introductory thread, you have to make it a point to notice the good stuff, because it's definitely there.  And don't allow yourself to be pessimistic just because everybody else is.  Your country is very greatl.  I am an American and proud of it, but I think if I lived over there, I'd be just as proud.  A lot of wha't's right in the world today came out of England, you know.

you are so right

So much better than the stuff they throw at us today, what is wrong with TV nowadays, all we seem to get is sex and violence, divorce, lust and more sex ?
