Hello Richard and welcome! A lot of Americans seem to feel the way you do. Perhaps, many generations ago your family hailed from these parts and it's in your genes!Smile

Welcome from me too Richard. Definately not strange. A lot of medern day Americans are decendants of the Uk as too are Australians. And there are a lot of Ozies that feel the same way as you do.

Hello again, Richard.  I don't think it's strange at all.  When I tell people where we went for vacation last year, they want to hear all about it and see pictures.  It's a very cool country, I love it too.  There are lots of Americans who feel that connection, and I'm sure lots of Brits who feel it too in the other direction.  I would move to England or Ireland in a NY minute if I could, at least for a little while.

Hi again Rick. I've been places that I feel strongly associated with too. When I first went to Beverley in Yorkshire I knew where everything was and what building was round each corner - that felt very strange!

Suggestion Richard. Give your jeans a good soak in "Napisan" followed by a thorough wash in a good laundry liquid and your troubles will be over.
