I have lovely neighbours, but living in a fairly small village and having worked in the Post Office for 6 years (I'm not at that one anymore though)  I got to know quite a lot of people, but the problem is I can't just walk down to the shops without being stopped for a chat lol.  Can make a 10 min pop to the shops end up as 45 mins lol!

All you folk are so lovely, I would be so happy to stop and talk to any of you in the street, and proud to have you as my neighbours. Smile

I maybe can't change the world, but I feel good doing my bit for the older community by volunteering as a bus or coach driver. Smile

Makes me think of the Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart. The small things we do change someone's world more than we know. Hopefully in a good way!Smile

You're changing the world more than you know, Wolf, by making a difference in your small corner of it.  That's all any of us can do.

As you all know, I am not religious. But there is one thing in the bible that I live by. "Do unto others as you would have done unto you". I live by that. Just wish that "others" didnt take it for granted and take advantage.
