Krissy - soulmate!  I have also been fascinated with England for as long as I
can remember.  I didn't go there for the first time until 2004 and again in 2007,
but immediately felt right at home and have felt terribly homesick ever since
returning home to the US.  What could explain such a deep seated longing
and familiarity with a place we've either never been to before or only recently
visited for the first time?  Sigh.......

Would have to be anywhere in the South of England.  My special loves are Devon and Cornwall, but there again I still have a lot of English counties to visit... and when I retire in England, I plan to do just that.  My special loves are market and coastal villages/towns.

That country down around Salisbury is lovely too, as is the city of Salisbury.

Not quite, but close.  Both in Wiltshire in the southern parts of the county.

Thanks Paul.  I couldn't remember, but I do seem to remember catching a train from London to Salisbury and then taking a bus from Salisbury to Stonehenge.
