I saw this on the news last night! Bless them, they have no plows and were totally unprepared to deal with it.

Any friends in London? How are you fairing?

The only 'Plows' they have anywhere near London actually own this website Diana! I guess you mean't 'ploughs' as in 'We plough the fields and scatter' eh? Ha, ha!

I think we Yanks spell it 'plow' generally when referring to the thing that pushes snow around.  At least, I do!  Plough is no doubt the proper spelling though.

Do you suppose Joan Plowright changed the spelling of her name for professional reasons from 'Ploughright'?

As usual the UK came to a halt with some snow! It didn't look that bad in London at all to me on the news! We had a good snowfall so I have been outside playing with the boys as school was cancelled!

Hi I live in Epsom in surrey, just south of london and we had 11 inches of snow in 1 night,As you have heard it brought everything to a standstill.

And yes i think it was a record ,because last time i recalled this was when i was a kid, damm im getting old.

But alas an extra day off work so out came the camera and well thats was me for the next four hours.
