She must be thrilled to just get out once in a while and see her subjects and do the things they do. I would imagine that riding a train in England would be about as much fun for her as it is for me. Because she probably only does it about as often as I do. She looks thrilled in this picture. |

After all Tony Blair soon dispensed of the Royal Yacht Britannia which I thought was a terrible shame! I suppose Simon Cowell can do what he wants with his money but the poor Queen is criticised for spending a penny - LOL! |

They travelled from that well known town with Royal connections, Slough, Buckinghamshire in the summer of 1842. Barrelling along at speeds up to 20 mph, they were soon on their way to London. |

(Mam as in jam), recently travelled up here to Blackpool to watch the Royal commanned Variety Performance. she arrived in her train at just after 7pm, her party and escorts were driven from the station in her own transport brought up for the day, the few hundred yards to the Theater and back to the station 3 hours later. Her train has luxury apartments, dining and palace staff on board. It is also fitted with 'rubber' tyers on the wheels to silence the travel. She headed back down south immiedietly after the Show. how much did this night out at the Theater cost? It would have been quicker by Helicoptor and less expensive. |
