LOL at James.  Laughing

Our lekky bills are pretty high here too, Ron and James.  Especially this time of year.  In the hour I've been on here, it's gone up 7 degrees to 109°F.

The air conditioner doesn't stop when it's this hot, James, so the lekky meter is spinning like mad!

Hi Colleen:  Yes, it's ridiculous, isn't it?  I'm in Phx., about 400 miles from  Los Angeles.  When it's hot here, it's usually a bit cooler there, but not much.

Lol @ Peter. Does she wag her tail too? Lol.

Oops! Almost forgot the purpose of this thread. I was in England for Christmas a number of years ago. I stayed in London (ahhh, Harrods at Christmas) which was nice. I saw all of the traditional sites and it was fun to see the Christmas trees decorated in Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and such.

I would like to get back to England over another Christmas and visit York and Scotland as well.

London is lovely at christmas I go the first week of December when we have our Mary Queen of Scots ceremony at Westminster Abbey. I was thinking of going to Edinburgh as a central base and they go around Scotland which I love. The only thing is the weather for driving but can also drive to Edinburgh and take the train to all the other places. I love the pub next to where Greyfriars Bobby is buried to have my lunch and coffee. Love the story of the old shepard and his dog.
